Although Griffin has just recently learned to crawl and sit up by himself, he's quickly found that neither of those are good enough for him. He wants to walk! He has the steps down - one foot in front of the other. He has the leg strength and has had that since about 4 months old. The only thing he is lacking is the balance, which he is getting better at each and every day. Watch out world, a fully mobile Griffin will be coming to you soon!
In other Griffin news, he got to go to the pool with Ms. Shiri, Halie and Trent, and we are planning a trip to the National Zoo for September. I can't wait! I hope he enjoys it. For more news on what's going on with Griffin, check Notes From The Playpen.
As for me, I had lost weight - 12 lbs! - and then promptly gained it back. Damn cupcakes.
Bryan started his new job last week and so far likes it. Students start on Monday, so we'll see how that goes. Apparently these kids aren't near as bad as the ones he used to work with. His old school has a reputation for taking the kids that no other school will touch. Fingers crossed that he enjoys his new school and that the kids are, indeed, better!
